Ven. Chi Boon (Gye Mun Sumin) is the founder of Kwan Yin Chan Lin Zen Centre (KYCL) in Singapore and Kwan Yin Chan Lin International Zen Centre at Pengerang, Malaysia. Zen Master Seung Sahn and Zen Master Dae Bong are spiritual teachers of KYCL.

Is the "1000-People Meditation for World Peace" Event free?

For the longest time, most of KYCL activities were free; I took the 6-lessons Zen meditation course for free. Now, KYCL is raising funds to build a new Zen center (see "3650 Great Bodhisattva Vow" at http://www.kyclzen.org, seeking 3650 kind-hearted people to donate $1 a day for 3 years). The present Zen center on rented premises is not a long-term solution.

KYCL now charges a token sum of $10 for the event, but they also give out goodie bags. Any donations are also welcome.

Registration Form here, or visit venue from 2-Sep-2009 for other activities:

Have a great day!
